Designed to be the perfect first tablet experience, I was concerned how L would get on with the LeapPad3. The LeapPad doesn’t give a percentage charge figure like an iPad or smartphone does, so it’s tricky to say exactly how long it takes but I found it was fully charged within an hour of plugging it in. I have blogged and shared on social media how much progress my toddlers have made, thanks to their iPad Minis. There’s a 2 MP camera at the front and back of the camera, plus the tablet has 480 pixel video recording.

My son is two years old and this thing is mean for 3-8 year olds and none of the games on it are meant for two year olds. The tablet has cameras on the front and back, and with the photo app you can play around with your pictures with different effects. In addition to games, apps and web content, the LeapPad3 also features dual 2 MP cameras, 480p video recording, 4 GB on-board memory and built-in tutorials.One of the things I love about LeapFrog is their neutral Green branding, so I was a little shocked to receive a Pink one. You can add your face to some cool images too (Check me out being an Eagle and a Cat in the photos above)! Education is very important and LeapFrog’s LeapPad 3 is a great tool to help entertain and educate young children.

The LeapPad 3 feels much lighter and is a fair bit smaller than the LeapPad Ultra, the only downside of the smaller size is that the screen is smaller, but it didn’t seem to bother the kids.
