About this deal

The John Frieda Frizz Ease Curl Reviver Mousse is suitable for wavy and curly hair. It can define curls and fight frizz while maintaining a natural shine to your hair. This volumizing mousse protects hair against drying and harsh weather conditions, but it may be challenging to use on super long hair. Do I Apply Hair Mousse on Dry or Wet Hair? The SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Frizz-Free Curl Mousse, blended with Fair Trade Shea Butter, to make your curly hair beautiful and bouncy This "oil" is just oil. Im not even sure if theres ANY coconut oil in it. It sure doesnt have any smell like coconut oil or anything. Just plain oil. Any other 100% PURE coconut oil smells like coconut. You can also layer gel products. This works great if you want a strong hold (gel) but want to retain moisture and softness (custard).

Shea Moisture is a component of Shea Butter used for centuries to nourish, protect and condition various hair types. It’s an excellent moisturizer and emollient, so hair products often use it to maintain hydration and moisturization. In a nutshell, Shea butter on natural hair prevents frizziness and dryness while strengthening your strands. Bouncy, voluminous curls are in, and it seems like the longstanding trend for wash-and-go hair with larger-than-life volume is rewinding us to the 80s mousse-mania! Coconut & Hibiscus curl mousse, blended with coconut and neem oil, helps to control frizz while adding a brilliant shine to your curly hair Shea Moisture products are generally considered safe for most hair types. However, there is an extremely small chance that you could be allergic to some of the ingredients in their products, which may cause irritation and breakage. This custard won’t hold as well as a gel but if you’re looking for softer, more defined curls, this is a good product to try out.

This is awesome, Jc! I BC'd two years ago next month and experimented with a lot of different products, which is why this list is so long. The frizz free hair mousse is formulated with no silicone, no sulfates, no parabens, no phthalates, no mineral oil or petrolatum. It's been tested on our family for generations and never on animals. Aussie Moist, Luster's You Pro Ultra Reparative Conditioner, Aphogee Keratin 2 minute, Tresseme Vitamin E moisture, Naked intensive care conditioner, Naked Smooth Silky conditioner, Faith in Nature Jojoba conditioner, Faith in Nature Rosemary conditioner, Aphogee's Balancing moisturizing conditioner.

While the John Frieda Curl Reviver is an absolute no-brainer for curlies, it does fall short of expectations when using it on straight and fine hair. I'm not sure why Shea Moisture has this effect on my hair... It makes it soft and hydrated, but causes balding if used for a long period of time (or at least in my case). My 3b/3a hair falls out with each wash or if detangling when using this product. It doesn't matter what line I use from the brand. I even make sure to use a clarifying shampoo every other week. Shea Moisture is NOT THE ONLY BRAND THAT DOES THIS. I'm sure you've heard of Deva Curl? I'm only writing this review because I wanted to share that THE ONLY SHAMPOO that did not cause my to hair fall out while washing was Innersense Organics. The problem is it's so expensive. But if you look it up on the Think Dirty App, it has the cleanest rating out of all of the curly hair shampoos; And YES it leaves your hair soft and weightless. The only downside is the cost exceeds the quantity. The pudding is made from a blend of organic Shea butter and Cocoa butter and is rich in antioxidants and vitamins. My favourite masques are the Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Masque and the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Hair Masque for a protein boost They're amazing the 10-in-1 hair masque is brilliant I really love the coconut smelling body lotion.Shea moisture dries out your hair since it acts as a sealant. It will not allow moisture to your hair, causing dryness. You need to use a water-based moisturizer first or oil with oleic acids, such as coconut, olive, and avocado oils, to avoid this problem. Healthy hair required a balance of hydration and protein and when this balance is disrupted, your hair will react and become damaged. Made from a reparative formula, the conditioner contains certified organic Shea Butter, Manuka Honey and Yogurt. Hydrating Masques If you have an oily scalp but also dry ends, give the Green Coconut & Activated Charcoal Purifying & Hydrating Lite Conditioner a try. By utilizing the conditioning benefits of Panthenol B5 provitamin, the John Frieda foaming mousse helps boost and preserve moisture in your curls, which is vital to prevent frizz.

If you want softer curls you could try a custard. This won’t give you a cast but if your curls are tight, you’ll be able to achieve longer and more defined curls. Whether or not your hair type will love or hate shea butter is really dependent on your porosity, i.e., your hair’s ability to absorb and retain hydration. On low-porosity hair, or just thin, fine hair types, shea butter can leave your hair feeling greasy and lank in high doses, since it’s so rich. But on high-porosity hair, or just drier, coarser, damaged hair, shea butter can be amazing at smoothing and moisturizing, says Reslan. If your hair reacts poorly to the product, give it time and experiment with a different being. Try using less of the product and see how that goes. Additionally, if you’re using too much of the product, you’ll probably notice flakes around your scalp. I have had 4C hair for a long time and i happened to have tried the product from its free share product. This was absolutely good especially the leave-in conditioner. To define your curls and control frizz, apply the product to damp hair and comb through it to ensure it spreads evenly from root to tip.The formula contains coconut oil which is great for an added protein boost and it also contains Baobab extract which helps hydrate your curls. Cut your shea butter into chunks, and place them in a heat-safe bowl. Boil a pot of water, and create a double-broiler by placing the bowl on top of the boiling water to let the shea butter evenly melt. Once melted, remove the bowl from the boiling water and stir in a tablespoon of your favorite natural oil (coconut, jojoba, grapeseed, etc.). Then, use a hand or stand mixer to whip the mixture for up to 20 minutes until it’s light and fluffy. Scoop and store in a glass jar until ready to use as a DIY hair mask, or mixed in with your deep conditioner, or as a body butter—whatever works. How do you remove shea butter from hair? This conditioner is a made from a light formula but provides a lot of moisture due to ingredients such as cocoa butter and flaxseed oil.
