KUZU KUZU

Kudzu root is the edible root of the Pueraria genus of plants. The kudzu plant is a vine that resembles poison ivy and is native to several Asian countries. Používá se k zahušťování omáček, polévek, pudingů, masových směsí apod. Zelenina a ryby poprášené kuzu před fritováním mají světlý křupavý povrch. Protože kuzu pomá*á vyrovnávat kyselost z cukrů, je tedy ideální do různých dezertů, pudingů, ovocných koláčů apod.

While scientists need to do more research on the health effects of kudzu, some studies suggest that kudzu root may have other health benefits worth considering. It consists of the starch that is extracted from the root of a plant known scientifically with the name of Pueraria lobata, a species of flowering plants that belong to the family Fabaceae (legumes), which is commonly used in Traditional Chinese Medicine where it is known by the name of gé gēn.
